Anyone know how to remove Oil Based pain from a carpet?

Acetone free cleaner like polish remover if small spot but I would call a professional if large area.  There are so many factors involved, type of carpet, actual ingredients in the paint, not all paint is the same, note possible damage to under the carpet with cleaner.  Harsh chemicals are dangerous so read the labels.  A good thought might be to call a home center for advise and Chem-dry products are great if you can find them.  Or you could just get a nice throw rug if you own the place.  That's a tough one!
