  1. idk how.

maby get a new surf board.

  2. you can always get a ding repairer from your local surf shop or they might be able to fix it for you. go to your local surf shop. they will now what to do

  3. Basic dings are easy to fix, repairing a broken fin should be done by a pro.  Take it too a shop and ask 'em how much it would be.

  4. Small ding repair is very easy. After sanding down the area with 100 grit paper. Cut a small piece of 4 oz fiberglass cloth, enough to just cover the sanded area.  Mix some resin and hardener and fill in the ding, cover it with cloth so the cloth is fully saturated with resin. Let it dry overnight. After, sand it down with progressively finer grit paper but be sure not to sand away all the cloth, that is what gives the repair it's strength. The trick is to, when first sanding the area, to bring down the glass around the ding so that when you fill it back up with resin and cloth and sand it. It will be level with the rest of the surface without sanding away all the cloth. Fixed ding!

A broken off fin is VERY difficult if you don't already have ding repair experience. You could totally ruin the whole board if the fin is not properly angled, aligned and foiled. Also, fin rope glass is a freaking mess to deal with. Gobs and gobs of sticky resin EVERYWHERE if your not really careful with it.

  5. idk about the fins but for dents you could always sand it down or get a like a wax filler for it.
