Anyone know how to solve torso hurts/aches

I hadn't exercised in a while. when i went to the gym the other day i ran a couple of miles and also did the step machine. Now my whole torso area from below my ribs to my pelvis hurts whenever i sit in an upright position. Has anyone had this before? it hurts to stretch it

  1. You just over did it your first time out. take it easy for a few days, to a week, and once the aches and pains subside,  work your way up to a level that you're ready for.
