Hello!

I am making something for a friends soon to be born baby. On the front I am planning to put the baby's name "Elijah" and on the back in different languages I would like to put that name also.

I was thinking that if that is not possible, than I can put a word which is associated with that name...for example, "Brave" or "Justice"

I was basically looking for Elijah in Arabic, Hebrew and German because those are a few of the babies roots.

Thanks!

  1. Well English and German both use the Latin alphabet so I don't know what you expect Elijah to look like written in German.. But Elijah is a more or less unknown name in Germany (apart from Elijah Wood). A more common variant is Elias.

  2. أيلايجا thats in Arabic and congrats on the new baby boy and if u wana know the nickname for it which is Eli then its أيلاي

  3. The original Hebrew name is Elisha' which means "God will save" and it's written: אלישע.

  4. Hebrew: אליהו, Eliyahu

the name in arabic pronounced إليجاه, but instead the words that are used in holybooks in arabic are:

    Christian Arab:مارالياس, Mar Elias

    Muslims Arab: إلياس,  Ilyas

    German: Elija (pronounced Elia)
