Anyone know how to stop late charges?

For twenty years we paid our bills on time (more then 30 in cases). Now buy outs are common. They say nothing will change but the service being better. The only reply I can get from the companies is that they have too many customers to make any exceptions. they will not cut off my service since their billing date has decreased by 15 to 20 days, but the late charge still applies. Perhaps someone can show them how in the "olden" days we could set the computer to send out bills on different due dates?

I've heard that tale before! I think we may all just be screwed! used to be if you made one mistake they'd fix it for you, now you don't even get one. Argh. I sound like I'm 60 instead of 28, but I too miss the good old days when people had manners and customers mattered!
