Anyone know how to transfer ITunes Library to another computer using a travel drive?

I just bought a new laptop. All my music on ITunes is on my old desktop. Is it possible to transfer all that music on to my laptop using a travel drive?

Another way, just in case is copying your files to Cd's (close to 200 songs each), DVDs (1000 songs each), USb memory sticks (about 250 songs per GB).
