  1. The same methods of transportation are available here that are available everywhere else in the world.

    You can drive.

    You can Fly.

    You can take a bus.

You can walk (it might take a while)

You can ride a bike (pedal or motor)

You can hire a hot air balloon.

    You can go on horseback.

    The possibilities are endless.

Try finding a trucker on a long haul if you are worried about cost.  You can usually hitchhike, although I don't recommend it.

  2. WestJet.

It's cheap and fast.  About $180 each way.

You could also rent a car; but if you aren't used to driving two lane highways through some of the worst weather and terrain imaginable, it might not be for you.

BTW, the Coquihalla highway isn't anywhere near the Rockies.

  3. There are couple of major routes through by car.

The Coquihalla (hwy 5) is gorgeous.  It does have tolls on it, but still way cheaper than the train.

  4. Take the Greyhound bus. It's way cheaper than the train, and easier than driving yourself (you get to see all the scenery without having to worry about driving the twisty roads.

  5. Hire a car. The road pretty much follows the train track. I did it in the opposite direction having taken the train out. A great holiday.

  6. If cost is a problem, what about hitch-hiking? Otherwise, there is the coach.
