Anyone know how to viking knit?

I am looking for instructions, preferably with pictures of how to viking knit. This is like chainmaille, but ropelike, often made into jewelry.

Hi.  I believe that this is generally called naalbinding.  the spelling can vary a bit. also nalebinding and nalbinding. plus the same spelling as the last but with character over the "a" which I cannot do.
