Anyone know if USMC Futenma provides free wifi how can we get this info????

My husband is totally not computer savvy and he wanted me to get him a wireless card for his laptop but I would imagine that the base would provide wireless for the people on base. Does anyone know if we would have to purchase internet for him to use or can he just get the wireless key code so he can set up a wireless connection through the base's network. Who would he have to talk to if they do provide wifi?

You should check with the internet service provider, MCCS Konnect on Camp Foster, when I was there they were just setting that up.

The Marine Corps will not allow him to connect thru their network via a personal laptop. However, there are some wifi places on base where he could go like starbucks, or use the computers at the library. There are also computer labs where he could use their computers to access the internet. As for internet on his own personal laptop, he would have to get a wireless card like you mentioned above.
