Most shops are open today, but just on Sunday trading hours so 10-4 or 11-5 so if you head out sometime between then you should be lucky. But if you're travelling far phone them up first to check. You can get the number of yell.com

As a "stationary" shop would be one that doesn't move, they should be easy to find.

Possibly you mean "stationery"?
