Anyone know if my child models is a legit site?

I signed up and they emailed me back saying they had an assignement for my child. I would have to pay a registration fee with the site but it says they have placed numerous kids with agencies. anyone had any experience?

I have been through similar , I went as far as meeting and listening. all 4 I believe were scams. as a matter fact, 1 that said she was perfect for children shows( hannah, drake -josh) . as the presentation went I felt I was in a pressure sales point. I told the wife something was not right. well come to find out the company made a few HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars fromthe clients, then guess what??

They skipped town, it was all over news.

so unless you know personally , people who use the service, dont waste your money.

if you want the kids to act, look into open castings in your area( large cities near you) or look into disney open casting calls, or similar castings.

i checked one of these companies out sometime ago and found it to be into child p**n.  continue to use care.  get names of other children and parents.  contact better business bureau for possible complaints.  it is your child after all.

I think you are right -- this reeks of scam. You can approach talent agencies on your own (you do have to have photos, etc. first).

The simple rule for modeling agencies is this: Those that are scams will ask for money up front; those that are legit will only get paid when you get paid.

Sorry, but this seems like a scam.
