  1. There is a minimum age on getting a license in most states,  but not on learning to drive.    However,  we could probably agree that it takes a certain level of maturity to make responsible decisions,   so please keep a 12 yr old out of the car.

There is no maximum age to get a license,  but the mental  and physical health of  each person needs to be taken into account.

  2. Age limit as in starting, in the U.S. it can be as low as 15 years and 6 months.

Age limit as in how old you can be to get a license ???

As long as you can pass the written and driving test, you can be as old as you want.

  3. im pretty sure its 15 in the u.s thats why its called a "learning permit" but i guess if you went on some old dirt road and learned how to drive by your mom or dad then i guess its any age

  4. For start, you can start learning how to drive at the age of 17. Then you can learn how to drive as long as you are mentaly capable. Age 70, you need medical certificate to proved your health condition. Then yearly medical certificate is a must.

But i think by that age, old people should not drive anymore. Too risky and not safe (health wise and mentally). Slow reaction.

  5. In the UK, you can start driving lesson at 17. At the upper level of the age scale, you can learn to drive after 70 but you would need a health check every one to three years after that. (depending on medical circumstances).

  6. i don't think there is one...

  7. In the UK you have to be 17 before you can go on the road or a public car park to start practising.  It is ILLEGAL for anyone younger to drive on the road.

  8. Just have to be 16 to get the ball rolling. Some people choose not to drive. A person can learn at any time. Takes years of driving to 'really' become a good driver.

  9. if ur in the UK its 17 from then u can get ur learning licence and go on to pass.

  10. age isnt an issue if nobody knows about it but I recon it would look obvious if you cant see over the steering wheel. On a more serious note if your on private land age is not a problem but to be road legal on the public highway you must be at least 17

  11. There is no age restriction that that I have found, but there are documented health restrictions that can be found via your states DMV offices; ie. eye sight or hearing. This is because these two things play intricate parts in driving. Also if you have any serious health issues (seizures or blackouts). This might affect your driving.

As long as your ability to drive is not dimished then you will not have a problem.

  12. limit or requirement?  In the U.S., most get a learner's permit @ age 15, then a full liscense at age 16.  In some states, there is a special one for those aged 14.

  13. In Australia it is 16 and 9months , then yhou have to do 150 hours of driving before you can get your P's
