Anyone know if there is a union for pre-school assistants?

Question

what with the strike for teachers of the NUT was just wondering if there is one i could look at joining but dont really know were to look. work in a pre school with children age 2 years to almost 5 years. thanks in advance

Iam a teaching assistant and in the GMB union ,so I would give them a call.

I dont think there's a specific one just for preschool assistants but there's one called Unison which is for anyone (I think)

There is no specific union but the Pre school learning alliance should help and you should have a Pre school development officer who visits your setting they will help with all concerns you have worst case scenario then contact unison i think they are called they help with everyones rights
