Anyone know if this was a UFO?

I know UFO stands for unidentified flying object lol.So i'm answering myself but see if you guys may know.Me and a friend were walking to the store on a dark road and there was this very bright light in the sky.It started to look like it was getting closer and brighter.And than it sped up very fast and went into space.I know it can't be a plane.Anyone know what eles would do that?

superman? if u couldn't identify it then it is unidentified and it flies so its a flying object so there for its a UFO. soz i was bored i just randomly wanted to answer but theres my view x

Don't be misled. There has NEVER been any solid proof of the Earth being visited. If people say there is, get them to show it to you -they never will. You should be aware, that on a clear night, over most of the globe, the International Space Station, and the Space Shuttle (if flying) are easily visible from the ground with the naked eye. If the thing you saw was moving from west to east (roughly) it was probably one of these. There is a website that tells when either object is above your

location on a specific date and time.

Well it was probably a plane.

If it was a faint, yet noticeable bright light, then it was a satellite. I don't know for sure what it was, so yes, it is a UFO. But I can say one thing with certainty... it was not a alien space ship.
