  1. Swiss Chalet on Yonge st. Just north of Dundas

  2. There is also Mr Greenjeans in the Eaton Center, the Hard Rock Cafe on Yonge.

If you down near Front St then there is Shopsy's on the corner of Yonge and Front, a south on the Esplanade behind the Humming bird Center, there is the Old Spaghetti Factory and OrganGrinder. If your into BBQ, then the Purple Pig at Yonge and Richmond just south of the Bay, on Queen St.

I was a chef and know they are all fun places for familys with small or pre-teenage children.

  3. My recommendation would be for Lone Star Texas Grill on Front Street. If you're touring Toronto, the CN Tower and Skydome/Rogers Centre are right there, as well as the Theatre district, the waterfront, etc.

They serve Tex/Mex and I'd highly recommend the fajitas. Some of the best I've ever had.  lonestartexasgrill.com for menus.
