Anyone know of a nice villa to rent in France - preferably ile de re - for two weeks during august and sept?

looking for a nice place to stay in france within walking distance of shops and restaurants. ideally La rochelle or ile de re or ile d'orelon but other ideas welcome. Must have 3 bedrooms

I think it's very difficult to rent something in Ile de Ré, because it's small and very expensive.

I've never been but I know it's really pretty.

They rent apartments in many places in France.

But be carefull take always larger than they say.

If you are 4, book for 6 for example.

Because 2 people are supposed to sleep in the dining room.

But clean apartments and not too expensive....except in some places like Ile de Ré.

Anyway their flats are all in good places !

I could not find anything for il de re.  

Type in Il d'Orelon on a search engine and see what comes up.  I know it's a real place in France and you spelled it right, but Yahoo! keeps suggesting that I mean Il d'Orleans.
