Anyone know of a politician named"Revercomb"

Don't know if he was a democrat or republican...he ran in a national election a long time ago,it is my understanding.Any help appreciated.

  1. W. Chapman Revercomb was the last Republican Senator elected in West Virginia.  He serve 2 terms, I believe, then lost the Robert Byrd who has been there forever.

    I think he ran for governor of West Virginia also but lost
