or surrounding airports to Bullhead City, AZ??? I am looking all over the net and can't find anything. The closest city it will fly to Bullhead is Las Vegas. We're looking to visit Laughlin but are TIRED of doing the 4 hour drive and not to mention GAS!

  1. I couldn't have given a better answer than the one above.  Unfortunately airlines have to pay for fuel as well, and their gas prices are going up too... So driving is probably the cheapest and quickest way to go.

  2. There aren't any. The only scheduled airlines that serve Laughlin/Bullhead City are Sun Country and Allegiant. Neither flies there from Los Angeles.

Flying would not likely save you any time or money anyway. By the time that you drove to LAX, parked, checked-in, cleared security, and completed the flight, it wouldn't be much less than four hours. It could even take longer if you have air traffic delays. It's also unlikely that the fares would be cheaper than the gas. Los Angeles to Laughlin is about 560 miles round trip. Even if you only average only 20 mpg (you should do better given that most of it is highway driving) and pay $5 a gallon for gas, that's only $140. That means that your break-even point for airline tickets is $70 round trip per person for two people. It's even lower if you have more than two people. You would not likely find airline tickets that cheap even if flights existed.
