Anyone know of any Cafes/Diner's near the Giles Hotel in London England??

Question

I will be staying at the Giles Hotel on Bedford Street WC1 just off Tottenham Court Road London England and would like to know of any Cafes/Diners that serve breakfast and dinner at a reasonable cost. I lived in London 15 years ago and am so out of touch with the eatery's there. Any sites or suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks

I think you mean the Saint Giles.  Stayed there a few times some years back;nice place.  For breakfast, I'd get that included with the room.  I don't like to start the day having to scrounge for breakfast.  The underground is right near the hotel, so I'd rather eat and go. Personally I'd stick with the Continental breakfast, which means cereal and fruit with your (of course) tea.  For a bit more you could get the artery-hardening "full" breakfast, but that's a bit over the top for me.  The pub in the hotel isn't bad either.

There's a Garfunkel's near there; it's a chain, but not bad.  There's the Museum pub which is, obviously, right across from the British Museum, which is a good take in and of itself.  But my personal favorite is the Victorian pub, which is right down the street.

As I said, it was some years ago, so you might want to double-check with the hotel concierge for details and directions.
