There's a great wood fired pizza place in Chjimes. I forgot the name but its very close to Carnivore and they serve the best frozen margarita (according to my dad). Or, if money is not a problem, take her to the cliff (at sentosa). As you walk to the restaurant from the reception, peacocks greet you and go on with they're business and when you get there you have a wonderfull view of the sea while listening to soft jazz music. The waiters are very friendly and the food is excellent. But you should check the place out first or you might spend a lot of cash for nothing.

there are many italian restaurants out there but they all seem rather expensive.

try menotti 's set menu...

its not bad n value for $$

Those are some restaraunts. I have been to some of them. Some are good like the Spizza or Bice Bistro.

how about Modesto's or Garibaldi Italian Restaurant & Bar that i found at this local sg website 88db, there are list of Italian restaurants that are good and the price is reasonable too...have fun
