  1. Why would anyone want anything that is "cheap"???  Insurance is for people who can easily afford it and have assets to protect.

You can search'health insurance' and get some quotes.  Good luck.  Remember, you get what you pay for.

  2. It's pretty easy to find a cheap individual health insurance plan if you are fairly healthy.

Just be sure that you don't fall victim to a rate that seems too good to be true from a company that you have never heard of or get suckered into a health discount card that is not true health insurance.

Stick with a large and well known company like United Healthcare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, etc. and you will be fine.

Compare quotes from at least 3 different companies (rinse and repeat every 6 months) to make sure that you always have the best value.

Here is some more information on how to find cheap health benefits:

  3. Bank of America just offered $19/month for 5-60% discount on medical cost with 4000+ services providers.

Contact them for details,  seem like this plan works for low-income, very healthy people.

  4. Depending on your age, your health and where you live, you may be able to find affordable individual health insurance options.  If you are not eligible for an employer-sponsored health insurance plan or if you want to see what else is out there, talk to a licensed agent in your area or else visit an online health insurance agency like the one I work for, eHealthInsurance.com.  It just takes a minute or two to get real-life health insurance quotes from leading companies in your area.  We also have licensed agents you tan talk with (1-800-977-8860) and you can apply for coverage online.

    Hope that helps.

  5. Hello and your question is a popular one.

First of all...resist the temptation to click on a link offering a free quote. They probably aren't local. Contact a LOCAL broker and ask for a detailed proposal in writing.

Somebody in Texas might have a snazzy site, but if you live in Virginia, they probably aren't an expert in your state!
