Anyone know of any good distibutors for a home biz?

Im looking to get a home based business started with my own website, Im just not sure what types of things I could put on there... anyone know of any good distributors? Ive checked with a few home based sites... and they all said it would be illegal for me to market their products on my page... Definitely not trying to go to jail!!! lol! Anyone have any suggestions?
