Somerstown Coffee House on Chalton Street does excellent food at reasonable prices.

Try the Argyll Arms in 18 Argyll St, W1 (020 7734 6117), Famous for it's  Gin & Tonic & try and get a seat upstairs where they offer table service.

immaculate late Victorian pub fits perfectly into classy Mayfair. Serves food I think until 21:00 & all traditional British pub grub.

The Dove, it has the smallest bar in Britain, warm open fire, no children allowed,good local beer, with good pub grub. 19, upper mall.
