Anyone know of any good things to do in Malta or Gozo

The holiday is booked so please don't tell me that it's rubbish there. I know that there are a lot of cathedrals but is there anything else to do or see?

go to the blue grotto, the presidents palace in valetta , hire a car its all great in Malta !

the Popeye Village, Mndina..The Silent City (historical..i found it a little dull but big tourist attraction) & a horse & cart ride around Valetta - that's nice.

Malta has 365 churches!!  go & see Mosta Dome...it's spectacular & the most famous....a bomb dropped through the roof back in war days & the church was packed out...bomb didn't explode..so this church is a real shrine.

Go round the cathedral with a guide and learn about the knights and the crusades. also go to the armoury and see the armour that the crusaders wore in battle, there you will see how men grew bigger over the years. It is all genuine stuff that was actually used by them. The  museum is also interesting. While i was there i learned that there was a Portland marble. and i live near Portland, and it is amazing that people living on Portland are unaware of that. Gozo is also worth a trip

There is so much to see that is interesting. I have been there 3 times.

There are loads of things you can go.. it all depends on how old are you and what are you looking for. If you want history - there is plenty ( as others mentioned before me). If you want beaches  - go to Golden Bay , Paradise Bay & Ghadira. If you want nightlife - go to Paceville & St.Julians. Popeye's village is nice but mostly good for kids - its basically the movie set of an old Popeye movie ( the one with Robin WIlliams)

Go for a day trip to the sister island of Gozo and another one to Comino. Cruises around the island are real fun and interesting. Food is great here! Go to Marsaxlokk fishing village for some fish! I am sure you will enjoy your holiday don't worry!!
