Anyone know of any homeopathic meds for migraines?

I have chronic migraines. I am on prescription medication for them but my new health insurance has a really low limit of how many pills I can have a month. Does anyone know of any herbal or homeopathic medicines for migraines? (Already tried the ibuprofen/Excedrin migraine stuff - doesn't work.)

Strong coffee can help Ibuprofen/Excedrin  may help but can couse tummy problems later .

Consume fish oil.  Avoid artificial sweeteners, sugar, and corn syrup.  Avoid caffeine.  Drink water or herbal tea, including willow tea.

In the mild pain phase of a migraine headache. I recently read there is a homeopathic called GelStat which is a combination of feverfew and ginger to be taken at the onset of the Ha and may take up to 2hrs for relief. Caffeine can be affective but no more than 2 cups or 200mg. Adequate diet of vitamine B6,(avoid too much of B), magnesium, calcium and iron. Its reported that insufficient levels of manesium in the brain cells is cause of chronic migraines. Ice to the base of the head and warm wash cloth to the face is helpful, along with learning to meditate.Cereals, nuts and dark green leafy veggies are a good source of magnesium. Too many carbs, sugars, allergies can be triggers. Good luck to you!

Maybe it's your diet?  Have you tried cutting out white starch and sugars and also staying hydrated?

You can listen to the others and consume more pills, potions, lotions, syrups, salves, hypos, hypers or maybe even some monkey pus.  All this is medicine under another label.  It maybe even "alternative" medicine.  Same thing.  You are still using one chemical or another to override your body's function in order to bring out a desired result.  

You need to get to the underlying issue to find out WHY this is happening.  You likely need a good chiropractor.  They are very hard to find, but it is worth the effort.  I don't know if I have EVER seen someone go to a chiropractor and not get results from their migraines.  They can correct the underlying cause so you won't need all of these "magic remedies" that are just more of the same.

Yes, you need to work on regularity,quit eating so much chocolate.  

  Get a good brand of fish oil like Nordic Naturals.  Take up to 6 pills a day.

  Get some of Dr' Ohhira's probiotics+12 these are the best and take about 4-6 a day for 30 days.

  I wont go into all the details and science here.  but the key word  again is REGULARITY.

I don't know if it is true but I have heard people say that they have decreased the severity and frequency of migraines with this product.  And, no, it is not my website, I am just trying to help.
