  2. Symptoms of diabetic peripheral neuropathy may include:

    Tingling

    Numbness (severe or long-term numbness can become permanent)

    Burning (especially in the evening)  

    Pain

    In most cases, early symptoms will become less when blood glucose is under control.

  3. Numbness in arms and legs. Burning pain. Loss of balance when walking when the effects reach your feet. I have peripheral neuropathy in both legs and arms. I have no feelings when doctors stick me with needles to check the level of my Peripheral Neuropathy. The doctors say that I will have this for life, as they have no cures. They give me medicines that seem to help.
