i never have heard of them but they look legit!!! but i would check them out real close before signing papers!!!

It's really hard to tell.. .there ARE good companies out there, but there are also a lot of bad ones.

Call them up, ask a lot of questions, ask for references, listen to your heart/gut tells you. If you feel comfortable, then go with it.

You don't just wake up one day and find yourself in foreclosure. There are usually a lot of problems that lead to this. I hope things start turning around for you soon.

Your wise to be a little skeptical with any of these companies today. Before giving any information to them, I'd contact them and ask for references. Check it out and ask some other financial institutions if they have heard of them. People already in the business are your best bet.

I received a pre-approval for a mortgage a few weeks ago, but was told by the realtor that with the instability in the market it could still fall through, even with the commitment.

I don't think you'll need it though. With that best seller coming out, people are going to be asking you for loans. Best wishes.

They may be legitimate, but they're not going to stop a foreclosure on your property for which you do not pay.  At best, they are there to assist you in obtaining possible loan modifications, etc.
