War Emblem. Is he in the same line as War Admiral? (got a bet riding on this with my husband. :-) ) thanks!

Yes, War Emblem is down the line from War Admiral.  War Emblem's sire was Our Emblem.  Our Emblem's dam was Personal Ensign (great 1988 filly who won the Distaff and retired undefeated thereafter).  Personal Ensign's dam was Grecian Banner who's by Hoist The Flag, whose dam was Wavy Navy who was by War Admiral who was by Man O War.
