  1. What about a car wash or maybe selling some raffle tickets ? You can get some printed out for cheap . We sold icees for our softball team and also sold tickets to come and eat at a local resturant . We then waited on everyone that bought a ticket and we got all the tips.

  2. You could hold a charity football match for example the veterans against the girls or the police against the firemen something that will attract a crowd.

Everyone who participates donates a small fee and all the profits  from the canteen also while the day is on you could hold raffles or just get the juniors to go round with bucket to collect donations.

  3. Heard of a local footy Club in a country town, who used its players instead of training to cover every street in the town and do a door knock .     Players delivered a club news letter , provided membership package details, and asked for donations , providing a receipt.       Raised in excess of $5000 and signed many new members.   Club now does that annually in the first week of pre-season training

  4. slave auction - slave for a day

Players sold to the highest bidder for a day. Just be sure to have a set of rules in place so that the winning bidders actually know what they can and can't do with the slave

  5. Well go around the neighborhood with an information booklet about the club and give out something free. Like a little key chain or something. Or even put up signs and take little donatiion buckeets and ask if stores will kindly put them near their counter to take donations. then go collect them at the end of the day. Or promote it around town and say all the good things it could do for the kids. like discipline and stuff. and taking them off the streets. people would pay for a good cause.

  6. How about holding a charity ghost hunt?  Find a local group and investigate a haunted location for the night, whilst being sponsored.  The group will be happy with media attention, which should attract more sponsors.  Also local psychics are good for a laugh.

  7. Get the players to do some fund-raising, if they want their own club to survive

  8. have the players sell cookies to ppl outside of a strip club

  9. This is a difficult question to answer due to the lack of information supplied.

I assume you mean a Aussie Rules club rather than AFL.

Also is the team a junior team or a senior team.? Is it based in the city, outer suburbia or a country location?

If in the country the best fund raising means can be entirely different to that of a city based team.

I have been involved in raising funds in country areas & I found that much more easier than trying to do the same thing in the city.

  10. Lamington Drive

  11. This is as easy as it gets

  12. bake sale, candles, fruit, kissing booth, cookies, a fair, raffle, telethon, marathon

  13. arrange a cent a number day, these a quite easy to arrange, you have 1000 tickets printed, and you sell the tickets for whatever the number is, but they are not opened till the person buys the ticket, example- if the ticket is numb 532, then the buyer pays $5.30, rounded off etc, or if you got ticket 0007, you would pay 5c, people buy heaps of them knowing the most they can pay is $10, you include a big winner in the raffle and provide a couple of hours grog, and they are always good days, BBQ etc, the club easily makes a few thousand if done right, see business's for donations for raffles and make sure u put signs up on cardboard or something  to thank your sponsors. the cash prizes are always a good incentive, like 1000 to the winner, 500 and 250 etc.  good luck, have a look into it, they do make money, i know from doing them myself.
