My throat has been really sore the last couple days. I’ve tried using cough drops but they only help a little bit. I’ve heard that gargling salt water can help. Does anyone know if this is true? Any other suggestions?

  1. Hi there, I always try salt & warm water as a gargle 1st & if that don't do it I then try a little TCP in warm water as a gargle also... swallow the last little bit, don'tt ask why, but it seems 2 help...Hope this helps soothe ur throat

  2. take internally some Oil of Oregano

gargle with some Oil of Oregano

  3. Drink a lot of lemonade and orange juice.

  4. Salty water will help but listerine works better and faster.

  5. honey

  6. Salt water gargles are the best.  The salt attacks the bacteria that causes your sore throat.  Gargle every 2 to 4 hours.  Use about 4 oz (1/2 cup) water to 2 TBS salt.

In between, soothe your throat w/tea & honey, popsicles, etc.  Hope I helped :)

  7. white vinegar helps allot
