Google "Middle Eastern Grocery" in your area....you should be amazed with the results. Buy some Knafi...if you can..or some simple pistachio pastries for your class.......great luck.

Ths saudis are probably the world's largest producer of dates.  See if you can find some almond stuffed dates in an organic food or bulk food section of a market in your city.  Also, Halwa (or Halva) is a good Saudi dessert; I've seen this in many American markets.
