Anyone know the Denver area and Denver's RTD really well? What's around?

I live in downtown Denver on 14th Street and Arapahoe. I don't know this area at all. I want to know what stores, parks, gyms, etc. is near using the RTD Light Rail.

I don't really know how the whole bus system works around here neither so if someone could assist me with that, that would be great also.

You should be able to pick up hard copies of those maps, and schedules, at bus stops and on the busses, but those websites are a great place to start.

The RTD website www.rtd-denver.com is actually very helpful. There are plenty of stores and parks in that area that you can just walk to without RTD. Plus, the 16th Street Mall ride is a great way to get around.
