  1. Hmm in my own advice, aftermarket pipes also + the hp and torque power on the bike. it will decide if the bike will perform in good condition or making it more bad.

In my experience repairing and modifying motorcycle, when i install the aftermarket pipes on a standard bike, the top gear will slow down because the air intake from the cylinder to the exaust system is not at the fullest.

So, to make things better, i top overhaul the cylinder and i modified the air and fuel intake. then after i installed it back with the aftermarket pipes, then the pipes work better. + more HP in the end of gear.

I also set the pilot and main jet back,  look at my daily used, if it for 1 kilometer illegal race, i make the pilot set intake big because i need a lot of fuel for the top gear, i dont to make my engine stall lol. if it for 400 meters, i used the other setting.

But for your question Anyone know the average HP and Torque advantage with aftermarket pipes, intake and powercommander?

On a 2008 Kawasaki vulcan 900? , you already have a big bike, but with a standard speed for its engine. if you install an aftermarket pipes, it will make your motorcycle perform better but you also need to setting it back.

The average hp is not the question here, but you must experiment with a different pipe because, different setting can be applied with different pipes.  hope this can help u. :)

Thats what make you more better in motorcycle, experiment it. you can do alot of things with it. trust me.

  2. I've  done these things to 95" HDs  and gained around 10-13HP and about 16 foot lbs. of torque. Hope that helps.
