Anyone know the game "Spore" is good for what computer?

I want to get this game called spore but my uncle says neither of our computers are strong enough to power it.

my iMac g5 intel core duo 2.0GHZ with 2.5 GB of RAM runs it perfectly fine so far!

Go to systemrequirementslab.com to test your computer (doesn't seem to work in Firefox).

Spore system requirements:

Windows XP:

    * 2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent

    * 512 MB RAM

    * A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0

    * At least 6 GB of hard drive space

Windows Vista:

    * 2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent

    * 768 MB RAM

    * A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0

    * At least 6 GB of hard drive space

Mac:

    * Mac OS X 10.5.3 Leopard or higher

    * Intel Core Duo Processor

    * 1024 MB RAM
