I'm not sure about that but you can register your parental rights if you are a father and worried about losing your child to adoption without your consent

Be careful if this is the situation, if an unethical agency really wants to get the baby for it's paying customers, they will have the mother taken to another State to give birth - this happens alot.

I doubt it - as you can't actually sign a child over to adoption until the child is actually born.

It would be best to check with a lawyer ASAP.
