I really like this quote, and I really want to know exactly what he meant by it. I understand the basic concept, but I would like to know if I'm right.

"When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hold on."

  1. When you've done all you can and you've slipped all the way down, hold firm to what you've got, and then climb back up.

The rope, and the knot of lasting faith in yourself, will hold you while you rest.

  2. Never give up

  3. My mother used to say that she was 'at the end of her rope' when she was stressed and about to crack. I think this quote relates to when you are so stressed and just want to burst, that you just tie yourself in and hold on. That is how to get through it. A bit like 'to weather the storm'.

  4. When you have achieved your goal, Hold on to those results

  5. I suppose that means that when you've expressed your idea out loud, hold fast to your belief, and don't let anyone change your mind.

  6. To me it means when u finally figure out what u want to do in life then anchor yourself, go for your dreams and never let go.
