Anyone know the name of the weightlifter in Beijing Olympics that couldnt pick the weight and is on a 7 ad?

There is a weightlifter in the Olympics that has been World Champion a few times (he has dark skin) and he couldn't pick the weight up no matter what - his hand kept slipping - and he ran out of time. Does Anyone know the name?

  1. His name is Oscar Figueroa. Indeed he won Silver in the World Championships and gold twice in the Pan Am.

    He injured his hand prior to the games and an injection into the hand (I am assuming it was meant to help) caused a complete loss of feeling.

    Sorry that took so long. Yahoo Answers is having hissy fits =(
