Anyone know the name of this Cookie ?

I bought a box of these cookies from my local Grocery store and I L0VE them !! I've eaten these before from a buffet dessert section. But never knew the name of these cookies. Its very light, flaky, and just a good enough hint of sugar. It seems like it's made outta filo dough or puff pastry sheets. Oh and the grocery store label on the box said ... FEITE Cookies but when I google searched FEITE or FEITE Cookies nothing came up. =[

I don't know the name but I know they sell them in most Asian markets.

They are made with filo dough.  They are brushed with melted butter then spread with some kind of filling(this one looks like chocolate or Nutella, fillings can also be made out of jams or cream cheese).  Then each long end is rolled toward the center to give that "ram's horn" shape.  Slice.  Place on greased cookie sheets.  Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.   The name depends on the filling:  Chocolate Horns, Apricot Horns, Walnut Cream Horns, etc....

My favorite filling:

3 ounce block cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1/2  cup of chopped Maraschino cherries(blotted)

2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Mix together and spread on dough.

Elephant Ears!  That's what we were taught growing up, by the bakery, my family, etc!

They sell them a lot around where I live, but I live in NY.    I don't have a recipe to make them, but they are Elephant Ears!
