Anyone know the name of this insect?

Sorry I don't have a picture.

It was green and looked to have a hard green shell. It was around 3 times the size of an average woodlouse and it could fly.

(It flew off before I managed to take a picture.)

It could also crawl/walk too. It had legs that weren't long, but were a similar 'style' to a spiders legs.

I'm completely clueless when it comes to insects as I am quite scared of them, but I've never seen this particular insect before.

Anyone know what it could be called?

Thanks.
