In U.S. Dollars, please. I would think these are passed down through families. But, if a traveler was in the mood to buy...?

  1. Greece is a huge country. And vineyards can be anything from 10 vines in a garden to a commercial venture with 10,000 acres. Depends on where it is, what varieties are planted, how old they, what condition they are in, is there irrigation etc etc etc.

You don't mention a winery or building, so its its just an agricultural field so you could pick one up cheaply.

Your question really is of the 'how long is a piece of string' type....

However, there is a vineyard and winery with accommodation for sale in Kefalonia at 850K euros -- see http://greece.themovechannel.com/propert...

That would be a commercial venture for a hardworking family.

I'd appreciate a bottle from your first vintage. Cheers!!
