i live near chigago illinois in the us midwestern time zone, whats the time evry where else?

Time zones based their time on Greenwich Mean Time, which means the time in London.  Everything is based on how many time zones away from London they are.  For example New York is -5 hours from London so when it is 1 A.M. in London it would be 8 P.M. in New York.  Everything east of London would be + hours and everything west of London would be - hours.

There are actually 4 different time zones in the United States.

Maine to Florida  (time 3:00pm)

Central Time Zone:

Chicago, Illinois down to Texas (time 2:00pm)

Mountain Time Zone:

Montana to New Mexico (time 1:00pm)
