Anyone know the value of SILVER GOBLETS?

And no im not talking about the ones on world of warcraft lol i mean actual silver goblets, what are they worth in Australian dollars??

well that depends on a few things, the three basics are:

quality of silver used

the wieght of the silver

the age of the goblet

the maker of the goblet

each can add or detract fro it's value. to know simple silver price, just look-up the price of silver per ounce,  and then wiegh you goblets, then multiply.   but you would be short changed if the goblets are antique or made by a quality silversmith.  your price range could multiply 5 times or more for a highly cooectible and rare goblet. best bet, bring it to a jewlery store, and have them appraise it.

and remember, Silver is no where near the price of gold, ( just check on any online site the curent price of gold and silver to see the big differnce) and most silver is valued by quality and age of  the piece (maker and collectibleness)., thats where the money is at when talking silver.

are you sure it's solid and not plated? or  pewter?   (tin mixe d with silver, very common for centuries), good luck.
