1. Two planets 1 and 2 which

have uniform mass distributions, (density=p and radius= r). What is the ratio of their masses? M1/M2 (by p1, p2, r1, r2) and the ratio of the circular areas? A1/A2 (by r1, r2)

2. There is a drag force of the object falls through an air = ML/T^2

Fair= CAv^2, find C in terms of T, M and L (MT^2/L^2 is not in the answers)

thanks please help if you know any of them.

  1. 1. mass = density x volume

    M1 = p1 * 4/3π * r1³

    M2 = p2 * 4/3π * r2³

    M1/M2 = (p1 * r1³) /(p2 * r2³)

    Not sure if you mean cross-sectional area, or surface area, but it doesn't matter:

    A1/A2 = r1²/r2²

    2. I can't help you here. I don't know what M and L mean, unless M is mass.

    Terminal velocity is given by:

    v = √2mg/CpA

    Drag force is given by:

    Fdrag = -½CpAv²

    where:

    C = drag coefficient

    ρ = air density

    A = cross-sectional area

    v = velocity

    Hope that helps.
