Anyone know what a 'barrel roll' is?

Got used in an answer to one of my questions and i am unsure of what it means!

  3. It has to do with flying an airplane. a barrel roll is when the pilot makes the plane do sideways loop de loops. It is pretty hard and dangerous, so in a conversation it was probably meant to say whatever you were talking about was kinda crazy or ill-advised, or something out of your control.

  5. I only know that it's a yoyo trick that involves bringing it to a split-bottom entry or a trapeze mount and roll it over in a particular way. I enjoy doing them.
