Income tax in Perth is the same as anywhere else in Australia and the same for all employment catagories.

I haven't actually been there myself and i'm not Australian but my mum went there last year in December and fell in love with the place , she is planning to emigrate there in the near future . I might go with her and her boyfriend to live there :P.I think there would be more job opportunities for you as your young and are soon going to be qualified as an electrician

It is a big, rich, beautiful, isolated city with a lot of (justifiably) smug laid-back residents.  Their economy is booming (mainly due to WA mining), their real estate prices have been skyrocketing for the last few years, they have some problems with labour shortages, they have hot Summers and mild Winters,  they have gorgeous beaches that go for miles and miles and there is heaps of fun stuff to do in your free time.  If I wasn't so connected to Melbourne, I would probably move there too.

PS: They have just changed the law so that the top tax rate doesn't kick in until $150,000 if that helps you decide.
