No, but just look at the indicators, or ask one of the station staff. That's what they are there for.

The platform number will be clearly displayed on the screens to be found in the ticket hall and on all platforms. Since this train starts at Watford Junction it is likely to be available for boarding at least 10 minutes before departure time. It is the only 'Southern' service to use Watford Junction - the others are all 'Virgin' or 'London Midland'
