I was supposed to receive my paper check after June 20th. I received a letter the following week stating that I owed $12.00 and it would be delayed approximately two weeks. I had filed prior to April 15th and did owe money and paid what HR Block said I owed, but I just let it go, its $12.00 that apparently they need worse than me. Now its been a month and I still haven't recieved it. The website set up by the IRS is useless "Your payment has been delayed". NO REALLY? Does anyone know what kind of delays people are seeing? I just want to know at what point do I need to make an effort to find out what is going on.

Thanks!

  1. I owed also, but I still got mine at the regular time, minus what I owed. I'm not sure why they would still be holding yours. I would call irs and ask. You will be on hold for awhile, though.

  2. Until you are 6 weeks late, the IRS won't even GUESS.
