  1. Odd question.  Even odder that I know the answer.  In spain a mullet is called "una choya".

  3. They tend to call it "coleta". I haven't heard of it being called "choya" in Spain before, I know that Mexicans sometimes call "head" a choya. Hope this helps.

    addition: yep, I've just put the question out on Spanish Yahoo Answers and they couldn't come up with a better word for it. They just said "cola de caballo" which is the direct translation of ponytail! (Actually, horse-tail but you get it). If you're planning on calling a bloke with a mullet something funny, call him "peluca" that's what my friends and I used to call the long-haired bloke in our group. (Peluca means wig, that's the Spanish sense of humour for you!)
