I found a "part" in a huge box of LEGO pieces but don't know if it was part of some LEGO kit or what? The black plastic bottom has the "pits" into which LEGO blocks can fit.The two ends of the bottom are "elevated" such that a "regular" height LEGO block, when attached, makes the bottom level. It has two die cast pieces that are attached to the bottom plate (they do not touch each other as they are seperated by a couple of plastic tabs) one of which has a plastic "liner". The larger center hole in the base passes completely through the unit. The two smaller holes have "mates" on the other side but do not pass through the unit. I can see a series of white and red plastic gears inside the device. The only marking I can find is a round recessed circle with the name Buhler (an "umlout", two dots, over the "u") and three upward pointing connected arrows. It is 3-11/16" long, 1-1/4" wide and 1-1/8" tall. I will be happy to email photos as "1,000" words would not be enough to describe it.
