Anyone know when gas prices will level off? What the world running out of oil or what?

I don't know but I suspect that when Bush leaves office, prices will go down.  The current administration is hording fuel in order to operate the war in Iran and Iraq.  When we make the reserves public, there will be plenty of fuel for the public.

I suspect the prices will either lower or level off in the winter of 2009, especially if we get someone strongly anti-war.

As for me i have no idea. But i think it's not going to happen now for us poor people. As long as there's a supply and demand for it our heads will be under water.

Well  ....Like  the  old  saying  goes....The  rich  get  richer  and  the  poor  get  poorer......The  oil companies  are  surely  eating   prime  rib  ... on us   poor  people....LOL...

So  until   we  have  a  new   President   who  cares  and knows  how  working  people  really  have  to   live....  lol.   Which  i doubt if  any  canidates   know  that  feeling...lol....   So  guess  we  will  all  just  have to  ride  out  the  storm...

it runs on consumer speculation. so whenever alternative fuel sources get a lot of media coverage as the next big thing, then gas prices will drop

i hope it stops going up soon, and seriously I need a more fuel efficient car, i hope the world is not running out of oil, we just need better way of using our resources.  they're making good progress by doing the Hybrid cars, and flex fuel cars, maybe someday an electric car or a car that can run on hydrogen

Oh it will eventually level off. It will never go back down below 3.95, it will most likely level around 5 a gallon/ maybe a bit more. The idiot we call president has f-ed our country over royally as he sits back in the lap of luxury rolling in the tax payers money. He knows what he has done to this country and is smirking behind our backs mumbling "SUCKERS". Horse and buggy days ring a bell? Basically that about what its gonna feel like. NEVER!!! hello, global warming! its causing it! and we are running out of gas! but, if more people go on train, buses, public transportation, they COULD level off. But no one person on this earth could tell you exactly when, only when people start using gas less, gass companies will be FORCED to lower gas prices.

i read that in Utah there are so many cars that run on  CNG that its actually become a good market.

They pay like 5 dollars to fill their gas tank.

it will level when airlines go out of business.. or LOSE business because plane ticket prices are rising.. and food prices rise too high,  cut back on shopping and everyone starts commuting on a bus or bicycle.. then it will go down... then back up then down up down up
